The staircase down to the second basement level - after the swim. The encounter when you take the stairs transition. This is pre-mini-boss.

I'll try to get that sorted as well. Shouldn't be seeing that much AB from anything in Wyler.

Still too many spawns in here. It's impossible to fight 7 v 2 when completely surrounded by things who kill you in two rounds. This time it was the first hallway after the dormitory upstairs.

Towards the Joker, or away from the Joker?

No idea I don't think I've ever been to Wyler and not have the above happen in one place or another.

After entering the dorm, did you turn left or or turn right? This matters because the layout is practically identical on both sides, but are different spawns.

Right. But if they're identical, I assume the same problem on the right. In fact you can have that same problem all over the map depending on the day.

Those spots spawn 4 for a party size of 2. If you are able to give more specific info about where they came from I might be able to figure out if they were from another spawn that shouldn't have been triggered, not cleaned up in the first area, etc.

It's really hard to say where they come from because they all spawn stealthed with very good stealth scores.

Me and Richard and my spider yes. There where other people online, I'd assume they wouldn't have entered the area with someone in it.

This may be the intentional behavior, but if not and it is a bug, here are some extinguish attempts:
(Boss spoilers follow)
Rip's fire doesn't seem to be extinguishable T3. Tried both T75 extinguisher (100% chance) and cyro bomb multiple times. And later shot out the tanks to see if this had an effect, which it did not.

gazoo , My understanding is that what you described is a side-effect of the high elemental damage dealt by the boss, and is working as intended. Fire damage, once dealt, is effectively pending damage that you have already been allocated, rather than damage you can attempt to entirely negate after-the-fact. Standing in water will significantly reduce incoming fire damage and increase falloff rate. Cold damage reduces the current fire-pool on your char, but would need to completely empty your current fire-pool to extinguish burning characters. Extinguishers and Wash Bombs used on other people, Aerosolisers used on yourself, and cold damage from any source should all reduce pending fire damage, but are not guaranteed to put it out entirely. In effect, they work similarly to how the 'Emergency Care' first-aid ability line does in regard to removing fire damage: a decent chunk, but not necessarily all. In my experience, the "Extinguish Chance" refers specifically to the chance of extinguishing a persistent fire effect on the ground, not pooled fire-damage on persons.

I think you misunderstand.
This particular boss gets pretty crazy regen while on fire. And she can ignite herself as a creature action. So it's usually best to extinguish it quickly/immediately. But this run, she never lost the fire no matter what extinguishing action or even after quite some time in observation (20 min). The other pair boss was tough kill but this one....impossible with that permanent regen.
Edit: Tried this again with an alternate approach and was better. So maybe that's the best way or I was simply fortunate. To be confirmed.
Edit2: Confirmed it is all ok; I was using the wrong approach. A little thinking helps.

It seems that with the new AI change the central room on the first floor becomes a death-trap.
Myself, Allison Collingswood, and William Colt went, and we managed to somehow pull the spawn from the far northern room during combat with the eastern dorm. Given that those spawns are already difficult for parties due to their very heavy tenancy to end up with 4/5 VS 1 when in a party, pulling two (or three, not sure if we grabbed the West dorm as well) spawns is unexpected and not very survivable. Two of us had four opponents apiece and the other had the remainder, and that was after having killed half of the first room.
I'm thinking that pushing the spawn trigger for the northern room back to the hallway with the books would prevent it being spawned early and overwhelming a party already fighting the spawns in the central room.
