I'm not above a bit of thread necromancy, so here it goes! Ancestral Elven Musical Instrument? Fiendishly clever gnomish torture device? It could be any of these things and more! Introducing: neverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/hakpak/original-hakpak/bagpipesMore shields! I was looking through the heavy shield options earlier and there were about four I could view and about 40 that were invisible (at least for humans/me. It's possible I've somehow managed to break nwn2, don't ask how) so, here are more! Now I realize you're looking for more sedate/realistic models, unfortunately the community isn't super big on those, but there are some in these packs that are pretty mundane, others that are pretty ornamental, and a few that glow and are clearly not mundane (maybe they glow because of SCIENCE!, come to think of it, that should be a shield modification, I should suggest that somewhere). neverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/hakpak/original-hakpak/lineage-shields-nwn2-conversionneverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/hakpak/original-hakpak/sunsilk-shieldsneverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/hakpak/original-hakpak/zpirits-shields-pack-v1013neverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/hakpak/original-hakpak/atshield-set(this one also has a sword which the creator has defined as a "gladius", which is set as a bastard sword type) neverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/hakpak/original-hakpak/mwm-spartan-pack-hakRobots! What? others were suggesting Modrons! I'm just taking it to the logical conclusion! neverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/hakpak/original-hakpak/robotsCloaks/Backpacks, I love a good cloak, with emphasis on good. neverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/hakpak/original-hakpak/backpacksneverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/hakpak/original-hakpak/good-looking-cloaksGuitars! GUITARS! I know, I know, there are no electric guitars, but they could be.. uh... fancy mandolins? And of course Glasses, specifically Rosy Red and Dark tinted. neverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/hakpak/original-hakpak/guitar-glassesWeapons, I tried to find mostly sedate weapon models, some of these packs have non-sedate models but they also have some sedate ones in them, that's NWN2 for you. This club pack is pretty amazing, they aren't super fancy, but they look amazing, it'd make clubs actually worth using. neverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/hakpak/original-hakpak/escrimators-club-packneverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/hakpak/original-hakpak/everfire-forge-swords-pack-v150This is a set of two rapiers, they look fancy, but the creator assures us they're very similar to real world rapiers they studied in order to design them. neverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/hakpak/original-hakpak/two-fine-rapiersneverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/hakpak/original-hakpak/shtoss-daggers-packneverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/hakpak/original-hakpak/simple-bastard-sword-overrideneverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/hakpak/original-hakpak/m4c-weapons-pack-vol1neverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/hakpak/escrimator%C2%B4s-hand-axesneverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/model/scimitar-models-tinted-non-overriding-and-hakpackneverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/model/mwm-spear-29-pack-hakMixed Packs. These packs have armors/weapons/clothing in them in a mixture, some of it is obviously not suitable, but some of it is pretty nice and I think would fit well. This pack is called "monk gear" some of the weapon models look like they'd be okay, but I'd more like to focus on the clothing options, the far left outfit in the first picture in particular is the one I like most, the others I could really care less about. neverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/hakpak/original-hakpak/monk-gearThe Complete Beldin Collection. This has... tons of things, including a Gnoll in a business suit with a briefcase, and you really can't argue with gnollix wright (note: business suits are only for gnolls, the rest of you plebs will have to make do with just briefcases which act like clubs, because nothing says business in Calidor like beating your associates to death with your confidential documents). Other things include the "Dragonbolt Crossbow" which I really think could be re-purposed for a fancy gnomish firearm, then there's the Romanesque armor sets, another shotgun model (you can never have too many), a Gunaxe, wait, do we have this one already? neverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/hakpak/original-hakpak/complete-beldin-collection

I play the keys IRL... would be pretty neat, maybe not unrealistic for Khannon to do it as a hobby.
I'm all for it.

I second this! At least the biography section. I'm a big fan of detailed, fleshed-out, solid character descriptions that can be kept current as the character progresses. I'm looking forward to something like this. For anyone not keen on the portrait part, that can be excluded. I actually love the portrait part, the issue is that they need to be hosted server side. If someone wants to go through and find stylistically consistent Steampunk and Victorian portraits, I'd be willing to organize them. The issue would be finding stuff like Steampunk elf portraits. The main thing would be that they look like paintings and be in color. No sketches and no photographs of people in costumes unless you photoshop them to look like oil paintings. Totally going to necro this suggestion, but I've worked with this system before and would be happy to help throw a bunch together if you need a hand with a public gallery. Additionally, for those wanting their own portraits included, I'd be willing to write up a quick 'how-to' for submission as well so that it isn't entirely dependent on the work of others, though it may require some level of moderation to keep things of a consistent quality. Possibly something similar to the portrait thread here, where you upload a preview of the image and a link for download so it can be added to the .hak if staff feel it's fitting with the theme. Just a thought!
