Post your suggestions for (minor) improvements to the in-game experience here.

I'll start it off by saying a character description editor would be a good addition.

a barber shop to change your hair. not sure if thats even possible, haven't seen it anywhere. It would require a .bic edit and a forced relog, and you wouldn't be able to cycle through the hairstyles to see how they'd look, you'd have to just pick a number and hope it was the right one. It wouldn't be intuitive and probably be a pain in the ass, sadly.

I still don't have a working nwnx plugin that allows bic editing. Other servers do but sources seem to have gone dark on that.
With a bic editor I could probably write a script to rebuild characters and allow for full reskins.

Well, there is also the way BGTSCC does it, though it just makes it a helmet, which no one wants.
What I would love to see in the game for conveniences?
- Better UI - Colors Hak, that allows multiple different colors during character creation - A system in place to build your own armor ingame

Inelegant solution, but effective. Also encourages forum use.

On bic editing, the custom system makes it pretty easy to rebuild characters, so long as there's an admin around to move the file on the host server. For the boot/edit systems other servers have I'd need to get a hold of a plugin that does it. So far I haven't been able to get a working one, and a lot of the plugins working on current servers have had their install folders lost or simply weren't built for sharing. What I would love to see in the game for conveniences? - Better UI - Colors Hak, that allows multiple different colors during character creation - A system in place to build your own armor ingame UI: Easy to agree with, but what does "better UI" mean to you? Just about everything has been modified from default nwn2 already so there's a pretty low cost to adding features. Colors: Currently using a version of UNC that was modified by Bagel for Legacy. It has just about every conceivable real world eye/hair/skin tone (and some on top of that) and the range works pretty well with our lore. Armor: Got this on two fronts. One is a pretty slick crafting system that works out of the character sheet (pics in the launch announcement). The other is an implementation of xpcraft that lets you buy template items (weightless, freely modified) that can be applied to other items at the clothing store. That way you can have one "main" armor appearance that you apply to all of your armor.

On this; would it be possible to give all the template items 100% weight reduction for those of us who don't want to recreate a specific style of something repeatedly because we can't carry the blueprint due to weight issues? Since the template items have no mechanical value anyways.

Few things:
- I'm happy to add larger 2nd-4th hotbars if I can find a quick UI mod for it. - That player is running 1440p, in general I'm aiming to build for 1080p. - You won't need that many hotbar slots on engines, since there aren't gishes, wizards, or wands. 12 won't be enough but you probably won't need 40-50. - Really dig the extended action bar. - If there's enough support post-launch I'll do some work to make the party bar smaller, but it needs to stay big enough to support the stamina bar. - Big examine window is on the wish list, will show up when I get a system in for editing descriptions.

On Dalelands Beyond the way they do the hair changes is... you pull a lever and it spawns a bunch of models with each hairstyle on it and you just pick the model, it kicks you and you come back with that hairstyle.

Is there a way to archive characters? If not, having one might be nice.
