I'm not entirely certain if this is intentional or not, but the namesake Waterfall of the area of the same name seems to have dried up. As visible in these screenshots, back in October there was clearly a waterfall effect cascading down the area. As of today, it seems that the VFX has disappeared. Attachments:

Might be your settings, I replaced the old model with a particle effect that I'm able to see from basically anywhere in the area. Have you tried getting closer?

I initially noticed it when I didn't need to walk through a curtain of water to get to the face of the waterfall. I noticed that the is sprays all the way down the channel, visible in the second shot, but I recall those from before.
It might well be my graphics settings, since I lowered them to make the last event playable, so I can check later if that is still the case.

Not just you, there's something wrong with the vfx hak on the live server compared to my version, will fix next update.

The waterfall was fixed for an evening, and then returned to it's currently rather barren state: Attachments:

There hasn't been an update since the one that fixed it. Are you sure you've got it from the same angle?

As shown in the picture, James is standing in the top corner, so I got closer with the same settings. When I noticed the fixed waterfall after the update, it was from the far south of the map. I also observed later from the same spot that it was no longer there, and cannot see the waterfall from anywhere in the zone now.

Just remembered as I was mapping the server and passed through the area, but this still appears to be an outstanding issue.

I have no problem seeing it even with an empty override folder. What kind of settings are you using?

It seems that my Override folder has stuff in it. I'll attempt to remove that and try again.

Emptied Override, these are my current settings, still no waterfall, as shown. [edit]: Becasue I was making a VM for another project anyway, I installed NWN2 on it, downloaded the server, went to the area, and still no waterfall, same settings. Attachments:

i.imgur.com/Uhz0tm8.jpgThis is what I get (in game on server, not single player), which is the intended appearance. Do you see something different from that angle?

Got the bugged waterfalls too. Here's a screenshot of my current graphics settings: imgur.com/a/og0ZR

I only passed though with Kaybrie to hit up this dungeon, and as we were leaving noticed that this still seemed to be the case. I have all settings toggled on and set to maximum quality where applicable. Attachments:

Finally figured this one out. This was a custom FX so the way to place it in the toolset is to place some random FX and then change the effect id. I did that, but the base effect was a calidor streetlamp which is conveniently located near the top of the effects list. It goes off during the day and comes on at night and also in early dawn right after a server reset, which is when I'd been testing.
