Initiated early in 1764, the Advanced Humanities Project was started by Assistant Professor James Frazer, with the aid of Students Mister Horncall and Miss Allie, in response to the discoveries made during the investigations of unusual circumstance undertaken at the request of the University of Calidor. Initially a side-project to maintain visibility of various esoteric leads, over the intervening time specialists have been brought in to aid with following and identifying new and exotic phenomena as they arise.
The cornerstone objective of the Advanced Humanities Project is to monitor the breadth and potential of augmentation and mutation to the Alphus physiology, both environmental and induced, historical and recent. This research has varied greatly, and may be performed from within a laboratory, inspecting tissue samples for aberrations derived from fungus and medical malpractice, to lengthy expeditions to investigate reanimated remains and loose abominations.
While "AHUM302" is listed in the University syllabus as an extra-curricular activity with Asst.Proff. J Frazer as it's supervisor, the prerequisite "AHUM301" is absent.
The membership of the project currently includes: Project Lead: - James Frazer
Project Members: - Emmanual Horncall - Field Lead - Allie [[Adrian Marlowe]] - Research Assistant - Kitara Lovich - Bestiological Consultant - Allison Collingswood - Field Assistant
