Making this thread to coordinate dates and times for the Aquilian expedition. The plotline'll be split into 4 arcs, namely:
I Pre-expedition; this will depend on player input and preparations for the most part, alongside a couple of goals that players will need to reach
II Sailing north; detailing the journey north, ship RP and scripted events
III Arrival on the continent; establishing basecamp, exploring the continent and some goodies
IV Finale; no spoilers, but no one wants to miss out on anything, trust me
I'm a fast typer and I consider myself pretty decent at handling large amounts of players at one time, but I'm expecting a lot of folks on average - I might have to split groups and let different players hande different obstacles: this'l depend on Fuzz' concordant availability. I'll likely have decided by the time the second ship arc begins how I'll be handling it all up to the finale (which will be a free-for-all bonanza). Per arc I'm expecting anywhere between 2 to 4 'events' with narrative updates to keep everybody informed on what's happening in the time between each event, with the exception of the finale which will likely just be an entire weekend set aside for it all. All in all, I don't expect this plotline to take too much time to complete and I want to not have it drag out for longer than say, 4-5 weeks.
My schedule for the events will be tightly constrained, likely no more than two a week which I'll announce in advance, though I hope to be do a few off-the-cuff events in between when I have both the time and inclination. Don't worry if you find yourself unable to attend an event here or there, I'll send out messages myself if I think it requires a specific PC to be present and will try to work around their schedule.
This week I'll have a large block of time available on Thursday evening GMT time well into my night/late evenings for American, and Saturday I'll have the entire day free (or should have, in any case). I'll post more details tomorrow once I fill out my schedule, let me know in this thread whose tentatively available on either days.
