I'm finding that I'm getting a readout "n: 5k: 5" when I'm in detect mod. I often get this instead of a message saying I found an object.

I've been getting this message as well, but the value wasn't always 5, it started out 1 then went up, I assume whenever I leveled

I think it might be remnant debugging and confirmation script. I've noticed that the second number correlates to how many people are in my party and within reasonable proximity at a given time, for example. More people makes it go up, less people makes it go down. Seems to only fire if there is a location where I know detectables to be hidden, given a dozen or so passes through the crypts as an example.

I find it sparks off just before a group of enemies is spawned, or as the party walks over a spawn trigger. So it's actually a bit of a tell to whether you're going to get ambushed or not :s

That's because n represents the size of your party, and the k seems to be relative difficulty of the spawns incoming to reflect it.
