- Adding more numerous and more valuable loot drops to areas other than the cemetery/crypt.
This was supposed to be in this mornings update right? It doesn't seem to have gone in correctly, we've been around the bandits hideout and beetle caves today, with no loot to be seen! Crypts are still as great as ever for a quick buck ^^

Yes. If anything now bandits just have less reward because now bandits very rarely drop anything.. Funneling everyone into the cemetery even harder.

These are too unspecific for me to tell whether I should be looking for bugs or reconsidering the parameters I have set on areas. Need to know things like what kind of items the spawns are dropping, how often you find hidden objects with loot, what's in them, etc.

When I go through any area but the cemetary. Not a single creature drops loot and the placeables in the spiders are all empty, they don't give any loot. Bandits the placeables give loot but never more than about 20GP last I checked a few hours ago. Beetles I have yet to go through

To answer you more specifically Psionic, nothing. Nothing drops from the creatures, there are no loot areas to detect (How you found anything in the bandit hideout aquilonia is beyond me, about 7 of us went through all with detect up and found nothing), the only thing we found was the chest at the end of the bandit hideout. Beetles had 0 things.

I've noticed a significant decline in findable objects as well in all areas. I use to find roughly 8-12 hidden objects in any given "dungeon" area and I'm down to 3-4. Character has 19 detect and is trained in search if that matters.

There was things to find in the bandit hideout, and outside the bandit hideout, and now there seems to be literally no placeables to discover, or the detect is just too high on them. I do find loot on maybe 2 bandits the entire run, though.

I was pretty sleep deprived , I perhaps might just be misremembering finding stuff in the bandit hideout cause his detect is only an 11 or 12 with no talents put in it so if Ziska didn't find much I doubt I would have.

Sounds like a fair few of these are bugs.
- Loot should never be empty unless you get a message that you've already looted something. This might be somewhat unexpected, but the way it works is there are limited loot nodes in an area and some (but not all) spawn every time you go in. - Low detect should still be able to catch most loot nodes, and some should spawn without needing to be detected. - Item drops on creatures depend on party size, difficulty, level, etc. and should vary quite a bit. - The item drop settings on undead and bandits are identical, it's not good if they aren't working the same (for a given party and day, that is). - I've actually increased the number of loot nodes by a fair bit since launch, especially in the spider and beetle caves. If these aren't showing that's a problem.
Some changes intended for deployment soon:
- Roughly doubling the number of loot nodes but also decreasing their spawn rate per node by about 30%. - Decreasing the base cost of most weapons and armor but also increasing the frequency of level 1-5 item drops.
Near future:
- New higher level dungeon with more ways to get cash money.
Eventually:
- Engineers will be able to craft extractors that can be used on monster (beetle/spider/etc) corpses to get fuel of various types. - Improved boss loot. Right now if you beat a tier above where loot spawns it gets held for you until I write the loot script in. I want boss loot to be the main goal of most dungeons, meaning strong items with good properties. - Beetle caves and bandit lair both need boss encounters.

Just to clarify as far as the bandits, the loot is still there for a single person, as in you can strip the bandits of their gear, but only if 1 single person is in the entire instance, any more and the party script(think) kicks in and changes the spawn rate/tier, but also for some reason stops you from looting their corpses.

Doesn't seem to be the case for me, I just tested this. Still getting "target has no items or gold" on the bandits. Psionic, does gear level factor into the difficulty of the spawns? Would that be having an impact at all with the loot drops?

Yeah I found and fixed a bug earlier that might have included party size and also caused all of the drops on a given NPC to be set to true or false. The next update randomizes a bit (so you might only get the boots, for instance) and also makes it so that it never goes down to "zero for the whole dungeon" like we're seeing now.

Is there plan for a form of persistent storage before this becomes fact? Because as of now it sucks to fins said good item but have to vendor it because it's not what we / the people around use.

Having run the beetle cave several times, I'm now getting a lot of empty loot nodes even when waiting hours between runs. It's not uncommon for all of them to be empty. I was able to do a few back to back runs when I first started and find a decent amount of gear + spawn different loot nodes each time, but ever since then it's been mostly bupkis.
Incidentally, I haven't found a single hidden loot node since leaving the tutorial despite thoroughly scouring the trade quarter sewer, deep sewer, and beetle cave. I have no idea if there's supposed to be any down there but I was kind of surprised that I haven't found one.
