Utility based feats : A new system to allow people to take more utility based feats and to let crafters able to take more combat feats. Basically nothing would change as it is. Except that at maybe every 2-5 levels you'd get an extra slot for a utility/crafting feat. Like detect, lockpicking, merchantilism etc. Feats people generally avoid in favor of defense/offense feat. You could still take feats as normal as you wish you'd just have these few extra feats just for crafting/utility feats.

I generally like this idea, or the idea of combining the utility feats like knockdown, aoe resistance, wounding resistance, maybe endurance as well to make the feats more tempting. Right nwo you can't compare the bang-for-buck on any given feat that can always be used vs situation ones. Another idea might be to build these feats into character progression every 20 levels, so that every 20 skill-ups characters automatically due to their experience gets a base progression of "saves" like standard DnD. Endurance as well could go in here at +10 per 20 levels, rather than the current values of +20 every 20 levels for a feat. Then reduce the feat return to +10 so as to not change the balance, but make things a bit easier for ammo-totting or heavy armor builds.
