Given their relevant mods, Spears (and polearms in general) are capable of fulfilling the role of "Weird Magic Stick of Power".
I would like to suggest that any arcanotech or mechanical type models for staffs be made available for spears to reflect.
I have no idea if these exist, but might as well put it out there.
