After his most recent run in with the "ghost", witnessing a full on "possession" of Zesiro and now having claimed to have fought a "dark sorcerer who could vanish into thin air", Otto spends many hours contemplating at the altar in the Triumvirate temple. Already partly religious, if somewhat tolerant and flexible about Triumvirate scripture, it seems the simple smith from Saderia has had his faith reaffirmed, also now refusing to believe anything other than the city is "cursed" and tainted with Lazaar's foul presence. Once seen leaving the temple, donning nothing but simple clothes and adorned with the symbols of his faith, it appears as if Otto has chosen to join one of the orders of the Heavenly Triumvirate, swearing his life in service of God and all things the Saintly Scrolls preach.
He begins his journey of theological learning by delving headlong into any temple books he's allowed to look at, he also tries to learn anything he can about the visions people are having after contact with this "sorcerer" about a dark obelisk, certain that it's an omen that could mean the destruction of the entire city.
