I know I posted on this before, and that the end-goal is that different potions have different reagents, but it's still a valid concern:
We currently have 7 buff potions, sharing 12 ingredients: Eye of Newt, Toe of Frog, Wool of Bat, Tongue of Dog, Tiger's Eye, Twilight Krill, Meerkat Brain, Elk Antler, and the 4 elemental glands.
The Glands are available in stores, and are not a problem.
Four of these ingredients are used by only one potion: Tiger's Eye, Twilight Krill, Meerkat Brain, Elk Antler.
One of these ingredients is used in two potions: Eye of Newt
The remaining three ingredients are used in six potions collectively.
I maintain the opinion that these ingredients should be better distributed, instead of Metabolic Enhancer constituting effectively half the available buff potions produceable with all gathered reagents - presuming all ingredients have the same drop chance (Which isn't entirely credible with Dog Tongue and Bat Wool being loot-able).
While more reagents is ideal, a more expedient method of resolving the surplus of metabolic enhancer reagents and derth of the rest (primarily Frogs Toe), I would suggest replacing the block of [cft_toeoffrog cft_woolofbat cft_tongueofdog] with other combinations so that each uncommon reagent is used 3 times across all 7 potions.
For example:
Blue Moon (a perception enhancer) could be Cold Gland, Newt Eye, Tiger Eye, Twilight Krill
Black Blood (a toxic infusion): Acid Gland, Twilight Krill, Frog Toe, Newt Eye
Jungle Juice (An aggressive predator's brew) : Fire Gland, Tiger Eye, Dog Tongue, Elk Antler
Heart of Stone (tied to caves and grounded strength) :Bat Wool, Elk Antler, Dog Tongue, Meerkat Brain
Bottled Lightning (Focusing on alacrity and movement) : Electric Gland, Frog Toe, Bat Wool, Meerkat brain
In this way, each reagent gets equal weighting compared to the others, instead of having an unequal demand. My suggestion links the reagents somewhat thematically with the outcome, but isn't by any means the only combination to ensure each reagent gets used 3 times across 7 potions.
[Edit]: It might also be worthwhile tossing Troll Fat and Wyvern Eggs into the mix (Or a breakfast) for more variety, or they could wait for more than the lone poison.
