Damage does not appear to scale with equipped glove armor.
So far means that as foes get higher level or start wearing armor, your damage becomes negligible or resisted completely.
Circle kick currently casts, goes through the animation, but no actual attack takes place, no attack role is made, and no damage is caused.

Posted the above screenshot, the yellow text is what shows when circle kick (1) is activated, still no attacks or damage dealt.

Unarmed is not supposed to be good against medium or heavy armor though. I don't think it states anywhere that damage should scale with glove level. Agree that the damage output is too low though. Even light armor stops most of the damage.

What if unarmed damage got DR that scaled along with the type of glove you were wearing? Or there were specific attachments for bypassing DR of a specific type of armor, so you could get Beveled Knuckles to bypass a portion of Heavy Armor DR, whereas the Spiked Knuckles would bypass Medium Armor DR (since most of it is chainmail) and the Razor Knuckles would be good vs Light Armor or something like that?

That would be awesome. Althogh I'd think Spiked Knuckles would bypass all DR since that's what spikes are usually for - penetrating.

A couple of little spikes on knuckles isn't going to penetrate ALL DR, unless we can also add some little spikes on other weapons and penetrate all the DR even easier.

if by penetrate we mean a portion of the DR and not all of it , sure.

I don't mean it should penetrate all the DR, just that it should penetrate any kind of DR, whether or not that comes from Light, Medium, or Heavy Armor. Ignoring something like 2d3 of it would be awesome, with higher level spikes incrementing to 2d4, then 3d3, and finally 3d4 perhaps, for level 100 spikes.

Plate was designed specifically to counter thrusting weapons... it's why it has beveled edges. It's also why Crushing weapons and blunt force were the best methods of combating it, because you hit something enough with enough force, it will buckle, and in a fight between a buckling piece of metal and your ribs/head/abdomen, take a guess who will win.
