I'll put this in bugs as I am not sure if the following is intentional: 1. So it uses a thrown attack roll. Is that the same as a ranged touch attack (per text on mod)? 2. And it is not continuous. In my case, it's effectively a single-shot 8-9 fire damage with some pool damage (enough for 2 fire/round) for the cost of ~26 oil and a full round. The FT is of fairly high tier. A few of these single shot RTs empties the fuel in the FT. It seems very underwhelming for massive fuel usage, compared to most any other fire mod, including a simple oil cannister on a weapon - which can reach a couple of fire pool points per round with 1 melee hit per round. SS shows image of usage.

Seems low, but I can't say much else without information on your build since demolitions weapons depend fairly heavily on having the abilities. Also, the damage is the one given on the item description, so you can use that as a basis for deciding whether or not it seems bugged.

Which feats are these and can you predict/estimate the effect per tier?
It was more of a hopeful curiosity for me and I'd thought I'd simply post the results of what seems to be very questionable damage. I'm not really an FT enthusiast, but if the feats are the Explosive Damage and the Gadgeteer line, then those are both pretty high tier.
I don't have Explosive accuracy, but afaik that has no impact on damage, except for the +AB and crit% chance. And no Pyrotechnics...which impacts activation stamina and continuous stamina use - again no impact on damage amounts for the current issue.

Don't need a prediction, it's just the damage stated on the item plus any bonuses you have from abilities. If it's off from that it's bugged.

gazoo The Flamethrower only deals fire-pool damage with three seconds of damage front-loaded, so you would need to see the entire damage ticks from a single beam to determine if it was dealing the correct damage per activation; 8+2+2+2+1+1+1+1, for example, to figure out the full damage from the hit. That said, the Flamethrower's primary strength is hitting multiple targets - which Injector necessarily negates by turning it into a single target beam. I personally do not advocate the use of a cone-weapon against anything less than 3 targets specifically as a means to overcome the relative damage and resource discrepancy compared to using standard weapons. With that in mind, the use of Rotary Compressor might benefit from having a proportionally reduced fuel cost.

This has been fixed thanks to a report from fen that included the numbers I was asking about.
