Interesting situation: I saw a battle was going sideways, and used Auto Defibrillator on myself. I got killed. The Auto Defib landed on me, causing me, a dead person, to have the auto defib effect. The Auto Defib effect lasted 10 rounds, and refunded me my tesla bomb. The party thereafter wiped, causing me to lose all gear acquired since my last save: which now included the tesla bomb I had been refunded. [Refer to pic, green arrows] It seems like a niche race condition, considering that Auto Defib can't be used on dead targets, but would it be reasonable to check if the target is dead on impact and apply a revive effect in the event the target died between the ability being castand the effect landing? This managed to happen again, though fortunately before a TPK. when a party member used a defibrillator on me, it set off the blast, though poison was involved. In order on the combat log: Adrian uses a defib on me, healing me 12 HP. Poison kicks in, dealing me 150 damage and KOing me again. Autodefib kicks in, healing me 23 damage and blasting everyone. At what point in this did the auto defibrilator hit you?

I cast it as the last thing as I was getting disabled, prior to requiring the defibrillator.
Unfortunately, when I look at the combat log, there is usually nothing saying "So and so killed James Frazer"
Will include a log of me actually using the ability next time if it occurs.

This occurred when I attempted to clutch-heal on Kirara: Due to queuing, the ability activated after she had been killed, and as visible in the second screenshot the effect is clearly visible as being on a dead player Attachments:

Setting it so that if it lands on a downed ally it just does a regular defib on them.

Interestingly, I got the heal, but wasn't revived. 1: I cast Auto Defib. 2: I get killed. 3: Auto defib lands and heals me, but never triggers the revive 4: Evidence that I'm still dead. Would it maybe help to institute a one-round/brief delay on the revive effect? Attachments:
