This has been an issue for a long time but I haven't found a thread for it (or I just failed my Detect roll). As the title says, if more than one attack is made in the same flurry, or otherwise within very close succession, the Armor roll result to defend against the attacks will be the exact same.
For example, if a dual-wielder attacks a character and both attacks hit, and the defender pulls, say, 15 for their defending Armor roll, both of these attacks will only have to overcome 15 Armor to deal damage--there is no separate Armor roll for the second attack.

Been aware of this for a little while and I'm not sure there's a good fix for it. I've been considering splitting up DR by damage type (so you'd get a few more independent rolls) but that'd mean removing double damage type weapons.

Currently, our only dual-type weapons are Halberds (S/P), Shortsword (S/P), Longsword (S/P), Greatsword (S/P), and Morningstar (B/P). (Though I might have missed one) I feel like the first 4 there could be converted to slashing without offending any sensibilities, and the Morningstar could go either way, though becoming a source of Piercing would make a non-spear/rapier spike option.
Would 'splitting DR up by type' involve giving different armors better/worse strengths against various types (plate weak vs B, chain weak vs P, scale weak vs S sorta thing), or just permit 3 type-dependent armor rolls per heartbeat?

Just the latter to start.
Edit: Won't work anyways, the damage reduction system isn't complex enough for it and damage resistance doesn't work for physical damage types.
