I've been running combats with the character screen open lately in order to observe the ABs, and I noticed that :
-SMG with Reflex Sight receives a -1 penalty to all attacks upon moving.
According to the text, Reflex Sight should have no penalties for moving.

ok. So will this be set to +1 for moving also? It seems logical. (unless the mechanism puts a spike in the ground or something of that nature - who knows with steampunk....)

Currently the description for Compensator is: "grants a +1 bonus to attack rolls at a cost of -2 damage."
From the description PE gave, it applies a +1 when standing still and a -1 to-hit when moving (presumably due to muzzle weight). From what I understand from Gazoo, he is expecting it to provide that +1 in all situations (both moving and static).
If the former, the description aught to be updated to match.

These devices typically counter recoil and barrel rise by propellant gas redirection. Weight would have little impact if it is held consistently next to the body and pointed in a general direction; swinging it wildly while shooting might see the weight as a factor.
I was indeed suggesting that unless this mod mechanism physically extends to the ground (ie, an old musket stand which would only work when not moving), there's really no reason why it should not also get +1/-2 in motion.
Otherwise, the description should be updated.

Looks like this is a hold over from before the gun properties were rewritten. The compensator had a penalty while moving back then. I'll remove the old code for next update.
