I think this was a bug mentioned somewhere, but I can't find it. Either way, the animals do not despawn, and are very tough to boot. This means that re-entering the arena will add the last arena's spawns to the current set, such as shown in the screenshot. Suffice to say, this is marginally problematic, as they can and will kill PCs outside of the Arena deathrules, leaving a bunch of hostile animals over your body for when you pop back up and they try munching on it again. Their significant regeneration makes the need for bringing overwhelming force simply to clean up a failed match pretty mandatory, and leaving the arena door simply makes it worse. (My ad-hoc solution is to blast them all with lightning and gunpowder from the stands) Attachments:

Not sure what the problem is but I'm adding some extra code to strip off anything that would prevent them from dying after a player loss.
