I would like to suggest a lockout of a few minutes after a party wipes on a boss, as a general insurance policy.
This would affect two primary instances of wipes:
1) Party wipes due to natural causes. Rushing the boss might be possible, but a delay is probably going to be expected, and being able to run back in probably isn't an advised tactic.
2) Party wipes due to bugs, crashes, or logouts. There remains a high chance that the players are going to log back in and get a boss of the teir of the first person into the area, so delaying the spawn gives players a cahnce to log in and regroup or retreat.
I suggest this after a situation today where the party crashed twice on the Blue dragon. We went in on T1 (what Aurelie was rated for) and crashed when the impact-tridder damage hit a pet (a seperate issue). We logged in again, but this time Emmanuel Horncall was the first one into the area, spawning a T3 blue dragon, causing him to die while the rest of us were logging in, and again, in short order the dragon landed on Aurelie's pet and we crashed. Our third login waitied until Aurelie was in (so it was T1 again), but due to the staggered nature of our re-entry, yet again we wiped one-by-one in various stages of bad stats from logging in.
A delay between boss respawns would have allowed for at least a recovery (and opportunity to report the bug that caused the problems in the first place), rather than basically one boss fight with spiking difficulty over multiple crashes.
