Hey everyone,
I just wanted to create a thread that would give thanks to anybody who has experienced awesome RP or done something really cool with the server.
My first post goes out to everyone who I have had the pleasure to RP with, for you all are great RPers and are open to a lot of things, which is great for a server.
It also goes out to our wonderful Server Staff, who have gone out of their way and on their free time to provide a great environment for RP as well as events, they're also very on top with bugs and addressing concerns!
Thank you!

I'll be honest. At first, I wasn't much of a fan of noir or steampunk. This server, however, is starting to make me think twice about my stance.
Thank you all, players, DMs, and developers alike, for helping this server come alive.

I second Lugwy's initial ambivalence toward the genre. The way the team has used steampunk doesn't feel cartoonish or over-the-top, and the added noir grit definitely helps!
Super impressed by the detail and thought that went into this project. Keep up the good work!

I'd like to give a shout for all the players and dms alike today with the bank heist event. I wish Sam'd got to speak with them in the bank but Emmanuel was thrown into his arms as he tried to enter.
Chaos was the entree outside with people shouting, screaming and desperately trying to figure out one anothers place in things. A special thanks to the players behind the robbers. You may have been caught but much street credit must certainly be had from all this. Thank you all and thanks to everyone involved.

A big thank you to all the Triggers for the great RP inside the bank. Even if we turned out empty handed, it was fun to play with you. I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH T_T

I would like to say that I do think that when I had the bank teller hit the alarm (the big red button), the cops maybe showed up a little bit too soon afterwards which you guys kind of complained about. At that point, I alerted dm greypawn that the alarm had been sounded and a few minutes RL time later greypawn had the bank surrounded. Unfortunately, I think that may have been a little unfair on you guys since it took me a while to RP and type things out to respond to your guys' actions (which greypawn couldn't have known because he was outside) so really in those few minutes RL time translated to even less than that in gametime. In hindsight, I think greypawn and I should have given you a bit more time between when the alarm was sounded and when the coppers surrounded the bank but I hope you guys are ok with the outcome nonetheless. I want you to know that I also dislike it when DMs create unfair situations and PCs are 'set up to fail' but I assure you we were trying to make things as fair as possible! However, dming a complex situation and keeping track of that many pcs and npcs and queries is really difficult so try to cut us some slack.

Just wanted to shout out to all of the people writing these awesome Journal and Biography entries... the writing and backstory in many of them are top notch, and in general they're great for filling in those gaps we DMs have because we don't get as much exposure to individual PCs because we don't RP with you guys constantly. I'm sitting here in the hospital chilling and reading some of them, and they're making the time go by quickly. So keep 'em up!
