If Zes crits she will one shot Axel from 120 to 0. I'm ok with this, I want that to be clear. I just want to see two handed get some love. Do I have any ideas to make them better? nope not really not atm but they need some love.

I honestly wouldn't bother with smokes anyways, given that the moment you break the smoke screen people tend to spot you within one, maybe two rounds if you're lucky. (Which isn't exactly a great deal of 'kiting' when you consider how far you actually move in 6-12 seconds when you're walking.)

Do I have any ideas to make them better? nope not really not atm but they need some love. Bolded part for emphasis. It would really suck on the off chance that - Zesiro rolls and confirms a critical
- You roll terribly enough on the armor roll that you get one-shotted
But both 1) and 2) happening at the same time are remote enough that the rest of the time it's safe to assume that bringing a (really big) knife to a gun duel will end better for you than you think it would. That said, I really do appreciate that guns are showing distinct differences in their handling and MO, both for the dakka aspect and the one-shot-one-kill aspect. However, I'm still trying to figure out the pistol and the handgun; both, in different ways, have the same issue of having too few bullets for too little firepower. What do you think about upping the damage of the pistol and increasing the ammo clip of the handgun to make them closer towards their comparisons (the rifle and the SMG, respectively)? They won't replace the comparisons, but it would make a pistoleer feel less stupid for carrying those particular pieces around. A possible Marksmanship ability: Cover Fire? AoE effect that uses up the entire clip (like Hail of Bullets), but instead of doing damage, targets in the area of effect will have their AB and movement speed reduced for 2-3 rounds.

There's mods that can be put on guns, which should allow handguns to become very much like this:

It's just a matter of rinsing and repeating until she does. Axel doesn't have enough detect to spot her I'm fairly certain. That being said, my bad I derailed the thread into talks of a theoretical PvP match.

At some point my rifle went from having Massive Criticals 4d10 to just having Massive Criticals 4. Anyone know what's up with that?

From discussion with P-E, it appears as if the 4d value was incorrect, and adding more than the desired amount of damage to criticals, resulting in the massive outlier amounts of damage gunners were seeing.

Guns are still amazing Sparks. They still shred everything. Dual wielders are just on par with them now. While two handed weapons and unarmed are the sludge at the bottom of the barrel.

Is DW really that superior to 2H now? I've had trouble trying to level it, because I struggle to break through DR even with a couple of level 25 weapons. Granted that's without any abilities, but I wouldn't think the ones available at <20 would make that big of a difference seeing as DW is geared more toward auto-attacking anyway.
Six ApR is a lot, though. I've seen DWers crit for almost 100 damage with auto-attack from one weapon before. I think it was Axel, actually.

Wait, did anyone compared unarmed (At current levels) to two-handed? Unarmed does like 1/3 of two-handed's damage, unless you have a level 50 engineering glove...

Yes unarmed is worse than two handers but two handers are pretty bad too. I finally switched Axel to dual wielding from two handing because I was tired of feeling so weak. Axel is now the DPS king
