So I know that heavy armor provides a HEAVY negative penalty to guns AB.
I had heard everywhere that crossbows were the exemption to this. Went to try a new crossbow tonight, and had -2 AB with it, in a mixed full plate / heavy scale set.
Also, bolts weigh in at 0.2 lbs per bolt. When your carrying a stack of 100 of them, that's 20 lbs. I'm not sure how much bullets weigh individually, but bolts seem to weigh a ton more.... considering I carried 3 full 50+ round SMG magazines a few nights ago for less.
Also, wearing heavy armor brings my stamina down to just under half of a stamina bar, naturally. Yet when I try to reload the crossbow in combat, it says I do not have enough stamina to do so. Does it really take roughly half a stamina bar to reload? O.O

I have noticed that it takes a lot of stamina to reload any gun (not just crossbows). Either we don't start with 100 stamina as some people think, or certain things impose a stamina penalty to certain actions in combat.

Yea it wouldn't surprise me if reloading a crossbow was 50-60 stamina

I suspect firearms are reloaded at 12 stamina a -bullet-, not for a full reload. Which led to me not thinking I needed stamina for the longest time. Something similar may be happening here.

Stamina cost may have gone up when the clip-size for crossbows was increased. Crossbows may be subjected to the ranged penalties from gloves.
