Basically the 1-handed weapons that fall into the category of -AB +DMG for their size, should have the -AB negated if used in two-hands.
As an example the bastard sword currently gives -1AB, and some extra damage. If I use this two-handed, the AB gets normalized as its not any harder to use 2-handed than the claymore which would still do more damage.
Some hybrid weapons could potentially fall into this category, as well as the addition of say heavy flails/maces, and waraxes?
This sort of thing becoming the weapons of choice for people desiring a single, flexible weapon for 2-handed, sword-andboard, or duel wielding. Not as good as a weapon specialized for any single style (claymores, axes/longswords, rapiers+daggers) but serviceable for all around usage..
Another idea with this. Give these weapons that are so big they get -1ab for being used 1-handed 3 base in their block instead of 2 like most medium weapons. Putting them midway between the 2-Block longswords and 4-block claymores.
