I'd like a little clarification on the Dungeon Boss loot bug that's been fixed and the reset that's going in.
I'm not sure if I'm actually reporting anything here, or just mostly confused myself on how things are supposed to work.
So, originally I was under the impression that if you had killed the diver 3 times, but someone in your party had only killed him once, then the diver would spawn on tier 2 and that person would be the only one getting loot for the experience.
But I've killed the diver (before this reset), like, so many times I've lost count. And I know for sure that I went with parties who killed him less because I've checked in OOC tells. I still got loot every time, ranging from (mostly) just a few $$ and some ammo or a generic white item of a higher than normal level..... but occasionally cool things like my flamethrower hammer, a level 20 carbine, or the first Kevlar Vest I've seen.
Are we of higher tier supposed to get loot when accompanying lower tier players? Or was that the bug that was fixed, or one I should have been smart enough to report before now? Are we meant to keep track, perhaps in our journal, "Killed Diver - 5 times", etc? Should this be a factor in searching for dungeoning groups? So far I believe everyone just grabs whoever is nearby and goes and does something, but if it may behoove us to form regular groups and wait for them while helping no one else so that we guarantee ourselves boss loot..... things could change!
How is it supposed to be?
