Whips seem pretty meh at the moment. They have increased range, but their poor base damage and lack of attachments makes them very underwhelming. It would be cool if they had some unique mods to make them interesting. A weaker version of the electro-whip from Wyler, maybe?
If nothing else, I would rather see them sacrifice some of their range for extra damage potential. At 4-5 damage +1 (10) and a 20x2 threat range, they don't seem like a very viable weapon choice right now.
