Overall, the place looks good, and the games respond well. I tried everything except for the Poker at least three times, more if I didn't have much experience with it. Have not tried poker yet, due to limits and my not having much money after the rest. Current computer is my laptop and running from a hotel wifis due to a buisness trip - some things might require replication via "Really shitty hardware" and aught to be taken with a Tibet of salt. My observations were as follows:
1: James and I suck at Craps, Roulette, and Slots. so does my connection currently, making the tipping of the slot machine a bit tricky. Due to my slower connection, a lot of the animations were chunky and the dice managed to show 4 faces once or twice. Should not be an issue to anyone not on hotel wifi though. Perhaps have an option to disable the animations?
2: Craps and Roulette have the bounding box to drag the window around slightly above where the top of the visible pane is, resulting in a lot of click-movements while moving it around.
3: CRAPS IS HARD. will definitely poke at again, once I understand what all the number areas are and how not to forget to bid on the number you rolled. Either I forgot to bid on 6 when I got it, or I didn't get the 3-1 payout.
4: Probably due to my weird connection currently, but on the slot-machines, I sometimes noticed one of the columns disappear and get replaced by a pale yellow-brown during the spin. I'm guessing it wasn't loading the textures.
5: The dice game is fun, basically random chance, and easy to understand. will play again and lose money probably.
6: I'm not sure if I wasn't doing it right, but the instructions for the chimmychanga(sp!) dice game required getting a lot closer too than the others, which were basically usable from wherever I clicked on them.
Atmosphere from the decor is nice, but perhaps a few patrons on slot machines could give it a bit less of a destitute feeling. Something about a casino in one of the best cities in the world having all of one notable patron I can recall (the lady at the bar) is a bit at odds to what I've seen in Reno where there are always people at the solo machines giving you the impression that winning is totally possibly for you personally. Possibly with random cheers and stuff.
